A hinterland reading

My thanks to the Calanthe Collective for programming me as the feature poet for May. It was a great evening of words and the group weren’t exaggerating about the requirement to book early with a full house at Clancy’s!

I was fortunate enough to have an extended performance time of 45 minutes, which enabled me to delve back into some of my earlier work, including a poem from my first chapbook ‘Feeding Paper Tigers’.

The Calanthe Collective has created a terrific poetry community on Mount Tamborine and I’m looking forward to reading some of the Calanthe Press publications, including Jena Woodhouse’s ‘Green Dance’ and Raymond Curtis’ ‘The view westward’.
